A refundable security bond of $1,500 + GST = $1,650 applies, returned when the car comes back in good condition. Your first payment to get started is the bond plus the first month's rent upfront: $1,650 bond (incl. GST) + $1,083.33 (1 month at $250/week incl. GST, billed monthly) = $2,733.33 total to start.
The Personal Plan includes 300km per week (= 15,600km per year). This is more than enough for typical daily commuting and personal use. If you go over, $1 per km is charged for any additional kilometres, billed when the car is returned.
Example: If you rent for 1 month (4 weeks), your total allowance is 4 x 300km = 1,200km. If you drive 1,350km, you pay $150 excess (150km x $1). For a 3-month rental, your allowance is 3,600km — and so on.
